TAIPEI, May 4, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- GigaMedia Limited (NASDAQ: GIGM) today announced its first quarter 2026 unaudited financial results. Comments from Management For the first quarter of 2026, GigaMedia reported revenues of $0.75 million with a gross profit of $0.42 million, an operating loss of $0.95 million and the net loss of $0.88 million. In spite of an 9.4% decrease in revenues during this quarter, gross profit maintained at approximately $0.42 million, comparable to the previous quarter. For the following quarters, we plan to continue our exploration of digital entertainment to further develop and promote our own products and services. First Quarter Overview Operating revenues decreased by 9.4% in quarter-on-quarter comparison. Loss from operations was $0.95 million, increased from $0.71 million last quarter, but decreased year-over-year from $0.97 million the same quarter last year, and net loss of $0.88 million represented an increase from $0.75 million last quarter and from $0.68 million the same quarter last year. TAIPEI, March 26, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- GigaMedia Limited (NASDAQ: GIGM) today announced its unaudited financial results for the fourth quarter and full year of 2025. Highlights For 2025, GigaMedia reported revenues of $3.5 million, with a gross profit of $1.8 million, an operating loss of $3.6 million and the net loss of $1.5 million. The revenues increased by 17.0% in 2025, and the gross profit increased by 23.5%, mainly due to our efforts in promoting players' participation. In 2025, we continued rightsizing our workforce and consolidating resources in an inflationary environment. As a result, the operating loss were slightly decreased, while the net loss was reduced to $1.5 million, compared to a net loss of $2.3 million in 2024. On the balance sheet side, we maintained a solid financial position with a small cash burn rate in 2025, and our cash, cash equivalents and restricted cash amounted to $29.1 million at the end of 2025. In 2025, we have been revitalizing our licensed games and enhancing our product developing sophistication for further expanding our product and service offerings. We believe in-house developing capability is very essential in boosting our productivity and accelerating the growth of our business. Highlights For 2024, GigaMedia reported revenues of $3.0 million, with a gross profit of $1.5 million, an operating loss of $3.7 million and the net loss of $2.3 million. The revenues decreased by 30.8% in 2024, mainly as our licensed games experienced slowdown. Meanwhile, we have re-constructed player's ecosystem in our legacy casual games to maintain steady revenue streams and a healthier margin in them.
