Summary

Last updated March 7, 2026. RankAlpha is a research platform for market data, rankings, screeners, and AI-assisted analysis. We collect limited personal information needed to provide the service, secure accounts, and respond to inquiries.

Information we collect

We collect information from a few distinct sources depending on how you use RankAlpha.

  • Session and security data such as authentication tokens, request metadata, and logs needed to keep the service secure.
  • Contact form submissions you choose to send, including your name, email address, and message content.
  • Operational analytics and device/browser information that help us monitor site performance and reliability.
  • Application activity tied to your use of protected features, such as access to admin or portfolio tools.

Most market, pricing, and analytics data displayed by RankAlpha is not personal information.

Google data

If you choose Google Sign-In, RankAlpha receives basic profile information that Google makes available for authentication, which may include your name, email address, profile image, and Google account identifier.

What we do not do
  • We do not ask for Gmail mailbox access in this sign-in flow.
  • We do not read, send, or modify your email through your Google account as part of standard account creation.
  • We do not sell Google profile information to third parties.

We use Google account data only to sign you in, create or update your RankAlpha profile, and manage access to features you are authorized to use.

Sharing and processors

We may share information with service providers that help us host, secure, monitor, or operate RankAlpha, but only as needed for those services. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, users, systems, or the public.

  • Infrastructure, hosting, logging, and monitoring vendors.
  • Authentication, email, anti-abuse, and analytics vendors.
  • Professional advisors or authorities where disclosure is legally required or reasonably necessary.

Retention and security

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, keep the platform secure, satisfy legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by data type.

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
