The decrease was primarily due to our decision to suspend our HSCT-TMA clinical stage program with nomacopan in May 2024. General and administrative expenses were approximately $2.7 million for the three months ended March 31, 2025 compared to approximately $3.7 million for the same period in 2024. The decrease was primarily due to (i) decreases in legal and professional fees (primarily related to the Merger) and (ii) a decrease in directors’ and officers’ insurance. The increase in net loss from operations is primarily attributable to merger related costs of $3.3 million, restructuring costs of $1.7 million and an increase in research and development expenses of $1.5 million which was offset by a reduction in general and administrative expenses of $1.7 million. The Company reported research and development expenses of $7.0 million for the year ended December 31, 2024 compared to approximately $5.5 million for the comparable period in 2023. General and administrative expenses were approximately $9.7 million for the year ended December 31, 2024 compared to approximately $11.4 million for the year ended December 31, 2023.
