Q3 EPS of $0.49 exceeded the $0.44 consensus shown by TipRanks. Loan and deposit growth, lower wholesale borrowing, a 3.74% net interest margin, and the dividend increase support a constructive near-term interpretation. [#PR-EARNINGS-2026-10-22]

Commentary

The October 22 release is positive on EPS, margin and capital returns, but credit deterioration tempers the read-through. A live quote at 14:40 UTC on October 23 was $18.73, about 1.0% above the $18.55 prior close; the trading day was incomplete, so this is not a closing reaction. No verified post-print analyst revisions or call transcript were available. Sentiment fields without measured coverage are placeholders, not observed readings.
